Abused women and children regardless of race, religious beliefs, and family background. Our organization will take a holistic approach to the challenges faced by abused women and children. The law stipulates that a child is any person under the age of 18. Toddlers accompany their mothers or guardian.

Our plan is to take in clients for a maximum period of three (3) months stay. However, the period can be extended to another full month if the client's personal Development Plan has not been achieved. Each bed sleeps three clients per year.

Contact us via the contact page or email. Volunteer roles include skills training (bead work, cooking, gardening), childcare assistance, fundraising, driving, legal support, and maintenance. We encourage parents to take on volunteer work when necessary.

Monetary donations (EFT, cash, membership fees), donations in kind (clothing, food, educational materials), sponsoring a survivor through our "Back to Normal" scheme, or corporate partnerships. Membership fees: Individual R500, Family R1,000, Organization R5,000.

Yes. High level of client participation is encouraged, but confidentiality on all sensitive information is strictly respected. Personal information can only be disclosed to other similar service providers on the client's consent or through organizational discretion where necessary.

Emergency shelter, counseling & healing programs, legal support, skills development (vegetable growing, bead work, cooking, housekeeping), income generating projects, child protection, community awareness campaigns, nutritional feeding programs, and volunteer programs.

We use a holistic approach: safe temporary shelter, trauma counseling, legal pathways to protection orders and justice, marketable skills training for financial independence, income-generating projects, reintegration support, and follow-up visits to ensure long-term safety and happiness.

Our shelter has a maximum of 10 beds to sleep clients at a ratio of 4 children to 6 women. The house currently has two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, and bathroom with extra land of about 40 square metres available for expansion.

We are in the process of registering as a Non-Governmental Organization (NPO) and complying with all relevant legislation including Department of Health and Department of Social Development requirements.
